Indication and usage

Carbon Crucible, when used with sodium pertechnetate Tc 99m in the TechnegasPlus Technegas Generator, provides technetium Tc 99m labelled carbon inhalation aerosol (Technegas®), a radioactive diagnostic agent for use in adults and pediatric patients aged 6 years and older for:

• visualisation of pulmonary ventilation

• evaluation of pulmonary embolism when paired with perfusion imaging

The TechnegasPlus Technegas Generator manufactures and delivers our carbon-labelled Technetium 99m ventilation agent; it is primed for optimal physiological assessments of alveolar spaces, facilitated by SPECT or SPECT/CT imaging. Technegas® is developed to address a growing spectrum of conditions and applications, such as:

• Pulmonary Embolism (PE)
• Chronic thromboembolic pulmonary hypertension (CTEPH)
• Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD)
