LightLab Imaging Optical Coherence Tomography (OCT) is a new high-resolution and high-speed imaging modality that uses advanced photonics for imaging and tissue characterization never before possible within human body. The ImageWire brings the power of OCT into the coronary anatomy when used with an approved localized blood clearing method. Using a .006” optical imaging core housed within LightLab’s proprietary catheter design, it is smaller than any other intravascular imaging probe.
The Helios Occlusion Balloon Catheter is specifically designed to work with the ImageWire, offering a safe method to clear blood from the viewing field. The Helios nominal inflation pressure is only 0.3 to 0.5 ATM, with no vessel distortion or vessel wall damage.
